Severino Casara

Severino Casara (Vicenza 1903-1978), alpinista e autore nel 1925 della prima scalata del Campanile di Val Montanaia. Insieme a Emilio Comici aprì numerose nuove vie sulle Alpi: la parete sud della Cima d’Auronzo, il Campanile Comici nel Cristallo, lo spigolo sud del Monte Cristallo e tante altre. Dagli anni Quaranta si dedicò all’attività di scrittore e di regista cinematografico, producendo documentari di argomento alpinistico.
