The map has altitude colouring, shows the country’s road and rail networks, and indicates its administrative division, with names of the provinces prominently marked. Overprint highlights places of interest, oil producing areas, and water wells in arid areas. The map is indexed and has no geographical coordinates.
A street plan of central Baghdad at 1:25,000 shows selected accommodation, various places of interest, and important buildings. Also included is an inset showing the main sites of ancient Mesopotamia.
