Paul Crask

Born in England, Paul Crask grew up in Yorkshire and graduated from Leeds University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He also spent time in former East Germany, studying at what was once the Karl Marx University of Leipzig. After graduating he travelled to Japan where he lived and worked as a teacher for two years before backpacking around the world from the Far East back to Europe via North America. He worked in London for ten years before dropping out and embarking on a radical lifestyle change with his wife, Celia. They moved to her native Dominica in 2005, where they now live in their self-built home. His freelance travel articles and photographs have featured in international and regional publications. He is the author of Bradt’s Dominica and Grenada, Carriacou & Petite Martinique.
