Manhattan at 1:20,000 on a “write & wipe” waterproof and tear-resistant, indexed street plan from Michelin, with an enlargement for the Midtown district, a road map of the environs including JFK and Newark Liberty airports, a subway diagram, plus sightseeing recommendations based on the publisher’s Green Guide. 

On one side is a street plan of Manhattan extending north to include Columbia University. Important buildings and places of interest are clearly marked and named, with 28 specially selected locations cross-referenced to their descriptions on the reverse. Subway and PATH stations are shown with names, and the plan also indicates ferry connections. On the reverse the Midtown area (Madison Square Garden - Theatre District - Lincoln Centre) is shown in greater detail at 1:14,000. Two street indexes, for the main map and for the enlargement, both include a list of points of interest. 

The reverse side also includes three sections with 28 star-rated recommendations: The Essentials, Also Worth Seeing, and Our Favourites. Also provided is a large road map of the NYC’s environs (including access to the JFK, La Guardia and Newark Liberty International airports), a diagram of the subway network, plus practical information (getting around, opening hours and public holidays, etc).
