The guide, through texts, cards, photos and detailed maps, will accompany the reader along the hiking itinerary on foot along the coast of the south-west coast of Sardinia, entering inland only for short stretches but always with a view of the sea. The route, almost 70 km long, passes through one of the most beautiful places on the island: from Portoscuso to the sand dunes of Piscinas, an experience of lively emotion within a varied and bizarre Mediterranean nature that offers the possibility of browsing pages of mining history that retrace a time span of over 3,000 years and of reading on the rock the fossil evidence of the geological vicissitudes of the Earth, starting from 580 million years ago up to the present day.
