Albania - Kosovo - Montenegro

The transnational ‘Peaks of the Balkans Trail” leads 192 km through one of the most remote and wild mountain regions of the Western Balkans. The new trail had been preceded by efforts to bring the population of the various countries of the Prokletijes closer together and to demarcate their border.
The Balkans Peace Park Project has endeavored to reopen the old shepherd and trade routes across the border.
The “Peaks of the Balkans” hiking map shows the varied and challenging hiking route through the mountains in the order area of Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro and contains a detailed description of the individual path sections incl. height profiles.
