Teijo’s outdoor map 1:25 000 has been printed on waterproof material. Our new durable domestic outdoor maps can be identified by the yellow marking on the cover.
Teijo, which was established in 2015, is one of our latest national parks. The popular and naturally beautiful area has previously been a government-owned hiking area, so there is an abundance of good-condition hiking routes and services. The old manor houses and ironworks located in the region are valuable historical milieus. The double-sided outdoor map covers the entire Teijo National Park and its surroundings. The seaside Meri-Teijo tourist centre area is also included. In addition, there is a map enlargement in a scale of 1:15 000 of the main area of Matildanjärvi.
The material of the map is fully waterproof and can withstand almost limitless folding, and it will not rip in normal map use. The features are also retained during frost and heat. The print is crisp and the colours are bright. The map has a pleasant feel and is lighter than if printed on paper.
In addition to terrain details, e.g. routes and other hiking services, as well as dining and accommodation services, have been marked on the map. The map includes ten attractions or experiences in the area, which have been described in a few sentences at the edge of the map in Finnish and English. There is also information on declinations at the edge of the map. The scale of the map is suited for Southern Finnish terrain 01:25 000 (1cm on the map = 250 m of terrain).
