The outdoor map of Helvetinjärvi and Seitseminen covers both national parks of Pirkanmaa and their vicinity. The map is a revised version of the earlier ones. It has a scale of 1:20,000 (1 cm on the map = 200 m on the ground).
The map is double-sided with Helvetinjärvi National Park on one side and Seitseminen National park and nearby Riuttaskorpi Recreational Forest on the other. Also the Pirkan Taival Hiking Trail Network has been marked. The map can be used for hiking and cross-country skiing. On the side of the map you will find a basic map that shows the driving routes to the parks and how the Pirkan Taival trail connects them.
The map is based on a topographic map of the National Land Survey of Finland and has plenty of extra information for hikers and travellers, such as various trails and their lengths, campfire sites, cooking shelters, open and reservable wilderness huts, lean-to shelters, tent areas etc.
The map is well-suited to be used with a GPS device. Details on magnetic declination and the coordinate system (KKJ, the Finnish National Coordinate System) are found on the side of the map. The map has also the ETRS-TM35FIN coordinate system. Information on local nature, history and hiking possibilities is also printed on the side of the map. The map legend is in four languages (Finnish, Swedish, English and German).
