Double-sided map combining a street plan of central Moscow with a plan of the city with its outer suburbs. The main, indexed street plan at 1:12,500 shows metro stations, one way streets and car parks, selected hotels, various places of interest including theatres, churches and monasteries, etc. All place names are given in the Latin alphabet, except for main streets which have names in both scripts. Coverage is roughly just beyond the circular No.5 metro line, to include the main railway stations and the Novodevichy Monastery.
On the reverse is a map of the whole city at 1:50,000, highlighting the metro network, car parks, places of interest, etc. The plan is surrounded by small insets showing traffic circulation on 61 most important road junctions. Also included is a diagram of the city’s metro network, an administrative map of the Moscow Oblast’ showing main road access to the city, notes on Moscow’s history, and tourist tips, particularly for using public transport.
